The Allen Fire Department strives to protect the lives and property of Allen residents through our commitment to excellence, integrity and expertise. Through the use of current technology, ongoing training and participation in the latest emergency medical protocol, we deliver both emergency and non-emergency services. We also work proactively to provide public education, enforcement of the fire codes and emergency management services.

International Fire Code Changes

Effective June 27, 2017, the City of Allen has adopted the 2015 International Fire Code.  All permits submitted on or after August 1, 2017 must adhere to the new code and local amendments. View new code and local amendments.

Smoke Alarm Installation

If your home does not have a working smoke alarm, American Red Cross-Texoma Area will install one for you. Simply fill out this online request form. Allen residents should select the "McKinney/Denton" office under the "City" field when completing the online form.

Arson Reward

The City of Allen offers a reward of up to $1,000 to any person who voluntarily gives information to any law enforcement officer which leads to the arrest and subsequent conviction of any person or persons who commit the crime of Arson within the corporate limits of the City of Allen.
