1. Who can use the Recreation Enrichment Vehicle (REV)?

Allen Parks and Recreation's REV program serves needs-based demographics in Allen through use of pop-up events and special programs. The REV serves but is not limited to the following demographics and programs:

• Areas with limited access to recreational facilities
• Disaster relief and community outreach
• Low-income households
• Minority demographics
• Special Needs and Adaptive Programs (SNAP)
• Pop-Up Special Events

The REV works with a variety of groups and organizations to provide recreation programs and activities. Please consult The Edge Visitor Center if you're interested in booking dates for a pop-up program or activity.

2. Where can I participate in REV activities?

You can participate in REV/Block Party Trailer activities at any City event where the vehicles are in use. The Block Party Trailer is coordinated by the City of Allen Community Enhancement Department.

3. What amenities are provided with the REV?

Arts and crafts: Easels, Paint brushes
Athletic equipment: Dodgeball, Soccer ball and goals, Kickball, Jump ropes, Portable volleyball net
Yard games: Giant checkers. Giant Connect Four, Corn hole, Giant yard pong, Bocce ball, Giant Jenga
Miscellaneous: Inflatable gaga ball pit, Slackline, Yoga mats, Floor scooters, Steps

Box Trailer Hitch (For use by City of Allen staff only) Amenities: Tables, Chairs, Traffic cones, Barricades, Water cooler, Ice chest, Selection of Yard games
